Pramukhswami Medical College (PSMC) was established in 1987 and is a Constituent Institute of Bhaikaka University. It has been accorded recognition by the Medical Council of India (MCI). It admits 150 students every year for a five-and-a-half year course (including one year of compulsory internship) culminating in a Bachelor of Medicine degree and a Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. It also offers Post Graduate Courses under the aegis of H M Patel Institute of Post Graduate Studies in various broad specialities, with a total intake of 96 seats
