Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC) at Baridih, Jamshedpur, in the East Singhbhum District of Jharkhand, is a premium institution for medical education and training under a consortium initiative between Tata Steel and MAHE Manipal This consortium is the first private-private partnership in the country. MAHE Manipal has been formally recognised as an Institution of Eminence (IOE) by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Govt of India, via the signing of a memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Oct 2020.
