The college came into existence in the year 2008. The college is a pride institution of Government of Bihar underr Health Department of the Government of Bihar. This institutions has been permited by the medical council of India,, New Delhi to undertake admission of 100 Students to the MBBS Course in the year 2013. Subsequently the medical council of India after proper Inspection and assesment again approved admission of 2014 and 2015 batch of students for 100 MBBS Seats. Goverament Medical College Bettiah is duly afflitied to Aryabhath Knowledge University, Patna which is an unique technical university crafted by Govt. of Bihar. This Institutions undertakes the teaching and training of hundred students for under-graduate course of MBBS & is going to Start Varioous Para Medical & Paradental Diplomas fro this academic session.
